Christopher Bowman, 40, was found dead this morning.
He passed away in his sleep. The day before he had been drinking and there were drugs found in the cheap hotel where he died.
Bowman was a former child actor - He had a part on "Little House on the Prairie" for one season and appeared in dozens of commercials.
He was also a star skater - "won a silver medal at the 1989 world championships, and a bronze the next year. He skated in the 1988 and 1992 Winter Olympics, finishing seventh in 1988 and fourth in 1992."
He was considered extremely talented, in and out of the rink - "If I had to pick the three most talented skaters of all time, I would pick Christopher as one," Brian Boitano, the 1988 Olympic champion.
