Operation Boot Camp - Why NOT try it.
I can think of a few reasons:
1. Operation Bootcamp is intensive = the idea is to change your lifestyle within 30 days. Sounds American - let's get it done in a hurry. But, let's face it, you can't lose weight, change your life in a hurry.
2. Operation Bootcamp requires accountability - We have rights to privacy. I don't want anyone to know what I am eating. If nobody sees me eat it, it doesn't count, right?
3. Operation Bootcamp workouts are challenging and varied. The American motto - give me the most results for the least effort. I want to lose the most weight without trying so hard at it, please.
4. Operation Bootcamp sounds to intimidating. I don't like being intimidated. It's not good for my psyche. And, if I fail, what about my self image. I may never get over it, and instead head for my room and eat more. It'll be OB's fault that I can't recover. Hmm...there's a lawsuit in there maybe.
5. Operation Bootcamp - sounds too rigid. The last time I was in really good shape was right after Navy Bootcamp. Anything military related can't be good. After all, isn't the young people motto - we want to look like we are in the Army, but we don't REALLY want to be in the Army.
6. Operation Bootcamp has Dual workouts - they're kidding, right. I have to think about lifestyle changes morning AND night?
7. Operation Bootcamp Instructor's push their charges - Don't they have a more laid back plan for the easy going type?
Operation Bootcamp is NOT for everyone.
Need a jump start? Why NOT try it?
