There's got to be a better way to say these things, no?
7 words relating to weakness.
1. debilitate - enfeeble, weaken. The injuries so debilitated the lines effectiveness, they didn't have a chance.
2. decadent - falling off, deteriorating. When the tree huggers succeeded in saving the owls, the once lively town became decadent.
3. decrepit - broken down, worn out. That decrepit QB was the one that showed the youngster on the team how to have poise when it mattered.
4. enervate - enfeeble, lessen the vigor. The high temps enervated us such that we had to stop and take a breather.
5. flimsy - frail, unsubstantial. That flimsy excuse is not enough for me to reconsider and forgive you.
6. incapacitate - disable, paralyze. The sore throat incapacitated the singer.
