Covering the business of education and training

The best way to learn words is to use them. Find, make an opportunity to use all or some of the words here, especially ones you weren't familiary with before.

Words relating to courage.

1. audacious - bold, daring, too bold. The audacious sergeant led his men to safety after they were attacked from behind.

2. dauntless - fearless, intrepid. The men wanted to turn back but had no retreat, thus they depended on their dauntless captain to lead them.

3. exploit - heroic act. He won fame for his exploits as an adventurer.

4. fortitude - courage when facing danger, pain. Despite being shot, his fortitude kept him at his watch until relief came.

5. indomitable - unconquerable. The captured men finally escaped because of their indomitable will to be free.

6. plucky - brave, valiant, valorous. After two days wandering in the wild, the plucky man was rescued.

7. rash - foolhardy, impetuous, reckless. When angry, actions often become rash instead of logical.
