
OUT - beyond, more than, longer (faster, better) than
I am sure there are a lot of people who can outsmart me when it comes to thinking up words that use OUT as a prefix.
outgrow - I have outgrown all my blue jeans.
outlandish - strange, fantastic. Global warming alarmists can come up with the most outlandish arguments.
outlast - last longer, outlive. Both teams are cold weather teams. The winner will the be the one that outlasts the other.
outlook - prospect. The outlook for the economy is not too good.
output - yield, produce. The output of the average American worker continues to drop.
outrun - run faster. Anybody is likely to be able to outrun that slob.
outspoken - frank, not reserved. He is too outspoken in his opinions; others get easily offended.
outwit - get the better of, out fox. The veteran coach outwitted the rookie coach.
