Covering the business of education and training

Global warming scare stories are nothing more than scare stories created by eco-activists looking for ways to persuade people to be better stewards of the earth. A good end, but a lousy, downright deceitful way to get there.

The global population is living leaner and the global warming opportunists are making a killing to the tune of trillions of dollars.

Terrifying claims that have proven wrong -

1. The population explosion - the world's people will not sometime number 15 or even 50 billion but is expected to peak at 8.5 billion around 2035, then decline slowly for the rest of the century.

2. Acid Rain - A billion dollars worth of research was wasted/used to prove this claim false. Acid rain is a very minor problem due to natural factors.

3. Cancer from pesticides -  there has never been a case of a human with cancer caused by pesticide residue. The National Research Council says that we will probably never find one. Pesticides are actually helping to cut cancer rates by producing more and better fruits so that overall intake has increased.

The sky hasn't fallen. It isn't falling. It won't fall.

Still, we out to be good stewards of the earth but NOT because of global warming.
