Covering the business of education and training

I've decided to make a concerted effort to increase my vocabulary this year.

I know a lot of words, more than many. Unfortunately, many of the words I have known are not English. Japanese, yes. Chinese, yes, Russian, yes.

But, English, I've forgotten a lot.

It comes from being out of the country for many years and not using them, from talking to people in other countries either in their language or in an English they can understand.

Somebody very close to me who grew up in Japan is now studying for the GRE. This person knows a lot of English, but maybe not enough.

I was asked to help this person learn some words. 

I thought to myself, gosh, why not teach him, teach/remind myself and take TBOK readers who might be interested along with me.

So, in the coming days, weeks, months, I will share new words, groups of words, ways to memorize words, here on TBOK.
