It doesn't take long into the Good Book, the second verse to be exact, to learn that there are at least two manifestations of the Creator God.
It is the Spirit of God that does the moving about over the surface of the waters while the Creator God does the speaking, the commanding, "Let there be... And, there was.... Let there be.... And there was.... Again and again.
I don't particularly care to use the word God in my daily conversation. I especially didn't care to use it when I was living overseas. Too often, if I used the word God, I would be asked, "Which one?"
Instead, I used the word Creator = the maker of the universe.
When/If I used the word God, I am referring to the active character here in the book of Genesis.
Oh, and there is another manifestation of this Creator. He comes later in the Book.
How important do you think believing or not believing in a Creator is to an individual's worldview?
As for me, I think it makes all the difference.
