I saw a miracle today.
It came in a 5lb 11oz package. It was so special, we named it, my wife and I.
It? I should say her. My wife and I welcomed our little girl at 2:58pm this afternoon after chanting 'hee hee hoo' for about 12 hours.
A miracle indeed.
Life comes from life. Make no mistake about that. It's a miracle.
Something so beautiful, precious can come out of all that, um, mess. I have a pretty strong stomach, but even I was getting grossed out by all the blood and what, if I were a swearing person, I would say looked like a bleeding tatoo of Willie Nelson. It's a miracle.
The little lady is so well made that I am 100% confident that we won't take her back for an exchange. Nothing in America gets done right the first time, ever. But, this time, she's perfect, the first time she came out. It's a miracle.
I have two boys who are all that a father could expect despite the many shortcomings of their father. If my wife and I can raise our little girl to grow up to be like her older brothers, well, that'll be a miracle, too. I'll give it my best.
Our newborn baby, Mia Mei, was born yesterday. She's a miracle.
