Gay marriage and gay rights are always hot topics where I live - northern CA.
My wife and I friends with a gay couple. We enjoy visiting with them and find them friendly and inviting, even fun.
Not a few of the students I taught for several years at an art school were/are gay. Test scores show no prejudice. I don't read the names when I grade, too.
How about gay marriage?
Not a chance in my worldview.
The Bible is clear - Gen 2:24-25. Man cleaves to wife, they become one flesh.
Marriage is between a man and a woman. Unions might be formed between same sex partners, but not marriages.
And, I still love and respect my gay friends and students.
