God asks tough questions. Especially when we have damaged our relationship with Him in some way.
The first question - Where are you?
The second question - Who told you that you were naked?
Doing wrong, missing the mark, coming up short, disobedience, ignoring instructions, intentional mistakes are euphemisms for sin.![]()
When we sin and are found out, we feel naked before the one we offended.
Being right with God is the only protection against that guilty feeling.
Got guilt?
Get God.

2 Cor. 11:2-4 warns me that a particular truth being taught in the subject matter of the sin in the garden could be used to determine if one was teaching another Messiah, Another 'gospel', and Another spirit, referencing their scriptures as they do so. Since the sins resulted in very real physical punishments I strongly suggest all study the issue in light of a physical sin commited rather than trying to spirtualize away the actual teaching of the section of scripture in question. If this is done a better understanding of the spiritual message will come forth and will lead to a better understanding of the war of the world we find ourselves involved with today. The Dominion Mandate given to Adam is paramount in this understanding and spiritualizing away the base facts are nothing more than an assault upon the truth. Therefore many find themselves in the Adversaries camp claiming spiritual unity and enlightenment, when all the while they are but deceived, proclaiming Another Messiah, Another 'gospel', and Another spirit, for which they are "accursed", Gal 1:8 and 9.
