Oakland Community College servers were used for spam attack.
I was surprised to read that spam makes up over one half the cost of personal and corporate Internet costs.
Half of what we pay goes for bandwidth used by spammers.
I know that the spamheads sure do wonders at filling up my email box, no matter the filters and message rules and such that I have in place.
Blogsboro makes two recommendations -
1. Let the webmaster know that their servers have been hijacked.
2. Lend support to the Anti-Spam Reserves and Rangers.
It's been my experience that the the anti-spam fighters were once themselves spammers.
I wonder....
