Kelly Tilghman suggested that younger players, "lynch Tiger Woods in a back alley."
Kelly Tilghman played golf for Duke.
We wonder, is that where she learned that expression?
Or is that where she learned how to win at all costs?
Tilghman is now (was?) the main play-by-play announcer during The Golf Channel's PGA Tour telecasts.
She made the comment during Friday's telecast of the PGA Tour's opening event at the Mercedes-Benz Championship.
Tilghman is also now making the rounds to apologize for her slight of mouth.
Question: Can she be forgiven or does she need to be lynched?

Update - A call for a genuine discussion at - Lynching Kelly Tilghman

Umm no. When you see and comment on a black person and connect the dots with "lynch" in your vocabulary and it just flows into a sentence so easily, it shows a heavy insight of how you think of that group of ppl and you only let a fraction leak out by accident. There is no doubt that we are the most sensitive group in the world, however you'll NEVER understand how much it hurts and verifies what WE think you REALLY thing of us as a group. Not to generalize..but a little insight..I don't expect any of you to really understand.
