What can we learn from Mayor Carmen Kontur-Gronquist?
The mayor of Arlington, OR posed on a fire engine wearing nothing but a black bra and panties.
The pics were posted on her MySpace account for only her friends to see.
Her response -
1. Those who were offended should get over it = I don't care what others think.
2. I have done nothing wrong = I don't care what others think.
The mayor also works as the fire department's executive secretary.
The pics, she says were taken three years ago.
3. She didn't see the need to take them down after she was elected = I don't care what others think.
4. She has no intention of changing who she is = I don't care what others think.
5. Critics - need to get a life = I don't care what others think.
It's amazing that Gronquist was elected by not caring so deeply what other peope think. What do the people who elected her expect from her now?
What we learn - yet another politician who doesn't care what the people who elected her think.
Is anybody surprised?
