Check for items on promotion, sometimes there are offers “Buy 1 Get 1 Free” and “50%  half prices” on new products of Chinese brands.

There are many Chinese brand products with the same quality as that of international ones, and usually prices are cheaper.

When going out to clubs or shopping, invite friends and share the taxi fare.

Taxis in Beijing are very cheap meaning a shared taxi fare will be almost the same as going by public transportation means.
