Focus on the family says 'A family is a unit that draws from the two types of humanity, male and female.'
Focus on the Family director of global family formation says there's a clear consensus among anthropologists.
“A family is a unit that draws from the two types of humanity, male and female," he said. "Those two parts of humanity join together, create new life and they both cooperate in the legitimization of the child, if you will, and the development of the child."
Of course, gay activists are calling people who
hold such a position irrational and bigoted.
That's right. My opinion is bigotry. But, if the activists want to force their opinion on me, it's fair.
In a few days we will surely hear from the anthropologists in the other camp. Expect them to say, “You can’t have a professional license in this country — you can’t be a physician, a social worker, a teacher, a lawyer, a psychotherapist, a marriage counselor — if you’re openly racist.”
Um, is gay a race now?
I think I missed something along the way.

Well, the more we can blame our own problems on someone else (genetics, bad parenting, our teachers, our school administrators, that guy who asked us if we wanted to Super Size our value meal), the less personal liability we have. How cool is that?
Of course those of us who hold these kinds of views about right and wrong are being unreasonable. But those who point out our unreasonableness (those who point out the wrongness of our views), are definitely being reasonable.
