Going to the farm will get you out of classes early?

Games will get you out early, too. 

University students in Beijing are being told they MUST go home a month earlier this summer - to accomodate the Beijing Games which will be held in August.

Career service offices at local colleges are scrambling -where are they going to send the kids? McDonalds, KFC, Pizza Hut. Not enough to go around.

China will graduate a record number of students this year - 5.59 million.

And Beijing has the largest lot, except maybe for Shanghai.

The Olympics are expected to create jobs for about 10 days + cleanup.

After that, it's every grad for themselves.

The Games organizers also expect to make good use of some 100,000 volunteers, mostly college students. Some colleges are also expected to award school credit for the service.

For most...it's a longer vacation.
