Poor Whites and Asians are able to do better in school than their Black and Latino counterparts who are NOT economically handicapped.

The Latino population will be the majority in CA in the next couple of years or so. It is already about 50%.

More Latinos, less graduates = more joblessness. That is, more fellows hanging out around Home Depot looking for day work.

Less educated people are more apt to be jobless AND get paid less even when they do have a job.
