Whites, Black and Hispanics lose/gain friends depending on their grades.
Who would have thought?
When Whites start getting an "A" average, their circle of friends gets bigger.
When Blacks find themselves with a "B" average their number of friends starts to decline.
For Hispanics - it's a "C" average when they start LOSING friends.
"Sorry, Jorge, you are too smart for me. Those C's you are getting are too hard to keep up with."
"Yo, Kashawn. You must be banging them books too hard. What's with them Bs you
are gettin. No more chillin with me, hoss."
Now, if that's not a real encouragement for kids to study harder, I don't know what is.
"C'mon. Study hard. Get good grades. Just think of all the friends you'll lose."
